So I just saw a trailer for this new show that's coming to AMC called The Walking Dead. It seems cool. It's based off of the comic series, and it's nice to see a zombie show for once. Here is the trailer



It seems like it starts off much like the way 28 Days Later does; main character waking up in a hospital, completely oblivious about the whole zombie outbreak. I'm not really gonna complain, because I loved 28 Days Later, but maybe they could have tried a little harder to make it different. From what I've read about the comic, the story seems pretty basic; Hero & company try to find new safe home, while dealing with personnel issues between each other. But it still looks like it will be cool, I mean common, he's a freakin sheriff, riding a freakin horse, killing zombies, doesn't get cooler than that!

It will be airing this Halloween. There will only be 6 episodes, but they want to do a second season of 13 episodes after.
